DillectroniK

DillectroniK is a keyboard player and producer from the Netherlands. In 2005 he graduated as a keyboardist from the Conservatory of Utrecht in Music & Music production. Since then he has played in different bands, but now he works mostly as a sound creator for his own band Knobsticker, which is a mixture of electronics and live drums (played by Pimba) which they call "drum 'n dance". At the moment they are busy making songs for their debut album, hopefully to be released in 2009.

Besides those activities, Dillektronik plays as a keyboardist with several Dutch groups in the Soul/Jazz/Hiphop genre, like Giovanca, Senna, Kofi Anonymous and the iLLectroniKs. He also works as a freelance producer and production teacher.

"Musically I've been influenced by almost everything I ever heard. But to mention a few important names: Jamiroquai, DJ Premier, RHCP, Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, J Dilla, Nitin Sawhney, Björk, Herbie Hancock, Frank McComb, Roni Size, Jazzanova and at the moment a lot of Hanne Hukkelberg."

DillectroniK and FabFilter

"I first got in touch with FabFilter by reading about it. Reviews made me very curious and coincendentally I met one of the owners and inventors of FabFilter: Floris Klinkert. He offered me to try the plug-ins and since them I'm hooked up completely!"

"The plug-in I'm liking the most now, is FabFilter Timeless. I think it has a lot to offer, from the weirdest delays to very useful reverb effects. And the sound quality is just so beautiful."

"I'm also using the synths a lot, since they are very powerful, no nonsense and still characteristic!
Actually I'm using all the plug-ins very much... They all work the way they should do, intuitive and to-the-point."
