About Julian Peake
Since the age of seven, Julian Peake has been dabbling with piano's, synths and various keyboards. After falling in love with early Tubeway Army, Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk records, the lifelong love affair with electronic synth-led music began. Most of Julian's music is still synth driven to this day. His projects include Stretch & Vern, Reflekt, Superbass and writing for Kylie Minoque, Little Boots, Natalie Imbruglia & Booty Luv to name but a few.
"The first set-up I got my hands on in my first band was a Boss DR55, Octave Plateau 'kitten' and a Casio MT-32. Sounds I still use today! I still like to combine analogue with my DAW set up. We have an original Minimoog (which gets used on everthing). A Juno 106/60, TB303, EDP Wasp and a few more that need fixing!"

"I got reccommended FabFilter products by a friend who suggested I download the demo and dive in. I have fallen totally for the FabFilter Twin 2 synth and used it on everything since the install! It makes modular synthesis fun rather than confusing."
"The FabFilter Pro-C compressor is great as it has a wicked side-chain implementation which is a nice alternative to Logic's own compressor for side-chaining. I guess my favorite feature that is common to all the fabfilter products, is the ability to make them sound extreme or subtle depending on what you need them for."
