About Liam Paton / Resonate
Liam Paton has been working in London as a musician and producer for the last 12 years. He was a founding member of the electro band Eskimo Disco, recording and releasing music through Stiff Records in the UK and Third Ear in Japan. He worked with Howard Gray (U2, Simple Minds, Apollo 440) and Fred Falke on their debut album and their single '7-11' has almost reached 5 million views on Youtube.
As well as recording and performing, Liam set up Resonate in 2007, a music collective that write music for the commercial, broadcast and computer game industries. Over the years, they have been involved in adverts for Audi, Adidas, Ford, TV title music including Charlie Brooker's recent Channel 4 show Black Mirror and complete soundtracks and sound design for computer games including the Playstation title Okabu. They have just been nominated for a Music & Sound Awards for their work on Okabu, which was released at the end of 2011.
Liam Paton / Resonate and FabFilter
"FabFilter Pro-Q is the first plug-in on all our channels. As a corrective EQ, it is the fastest and easiest to use by miles. It's super flexible, looks great and sounds really very nice."
"FabFilter Pro-L is the last plug-in we use on our projects. It has a great sound and with the K12 settings, gives us the levels we need when getting our tracks ready for broadcast."
