Katsuya Urushizaki aka Katzo and FabFilter

"After experimenting with different kinds of filter effects, I find that FabFilter has some of the most useful effects. For example, FabFilter Timeless has six different types of filter texture. This is very useful when I try to adjust the sound of the filter to match the character of the source."

"The LFO section is something I can create interesting phrases with, with long delay feedback. It can create fascinating baselines, which sound totally different from a MIDI baseline."

"It works well to make automation; sounds move incredibly smooth with FabFilter plug-ins. I own hardware filters like the Akai MFC42 and the Sherman Filterbank in my studio. With FabFilter's plug-ins, I can cover a great part of those hardware filter sounds, and even more!"
