Tim Jirgenson

When the underground clubbers of sydney discuss who is the brightest young talent in house music, the name Tim Jirgenson springs to mind.

Tim is a young dj/producer hailing from Sydney Australia. He started his dance music career in 1997 when he and his brother decided to buy an old set of turntables and start djing. Tim started playing at parties around sydney and earned himself a reputation as a quality underground dj. Over the past year Tim has become a monthly resident at Sweetchilli and has played alongside some of Australia's finest underground dj's.

Tims work has recieved great reviews and feedback from the likes of international artists such as The Carl Cox, Luke Fair (Can) & Roger Sanchez. Locally he has been getting strong support and interest from DJ's & labels owners such as Dave Basek & Phil Smart (Junk Beats), Tom Piper & Elroy (Bambam Muzik) and selectors such as Mark Murphy (Spank Records), Robbie Lowe and Carlos Zarate (who was so impressed he immediately signed him to Thug Management) .

Tim Jirgenson and FabFilter

"A production friend of mine, Tim Culbert, mentioned to me that he was using a new set of plug-ins called FabFilter. He sent me a link to try the plug-ins and the rest is history. FabFilter Pro-Q and Pro-C are by far the best EQ and compressor I've ever used!"

"Pro-Q has an incredible looking interface and sounds amazing when your boosting or attenuating sounds. It's extremely accurate and gives you a sound like nothing else on the market. Pro-C is the smoothest compressor I've come accross. It's very easy to use and looks just as good as the Pro-Q. When I use Pro-C I get a punchy, warm and fat sound that I just can't get with any other compressor plug-in."

"These plug-ins have taken my production to the next level!"
