Quick start
The installation program will copy the FabFilter Twin plugin into the common
VST plugins folder (Windows) or the /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components or VST
folder (OS X) on your computer. In most cases, your host will then recognize
the plugin automatically. If the instructions below do not work, see Manual
Installation instead.
- Cubase SX
Open the VST Instruments panel, click on an empty slot and select
FabFilter Twin from the menu that appears. Double-click in the list
of tracks to create a new MIDI track and assign it to the new FabFilter Twin
instrument.
- Logic Audio
Create an Audio Instrument object in the Environment or in the Mixer,
select FabFilter Twin as the input and choose a preferred output. You
will find FabFilter Twin in the Stereo > VST (Windows) or Stereo
> Audio Units (OS X) section. Finally, create a new instrument track
for FabFilter Twin in the Arrange window.
You should now be able to play notes and record them. Use the Presets button to try different sounds from the hundreds of factory presets that are bundled with FabFilter Twin. Have fun!
