AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, October 13, 2008. FabFilter has released FabFilter Pro-C 1.11 and Volcano 2.02. Both plug-ins now work correctly in MOTU Digital Performer 6, and the Audio Unit versions support mono-to-stereo channel configurations. Like Volcano 2, Pro-C now features mouse wheel handling and an improved parameter value display. In addition, Pro-C now supports the new VST 3 format. Finally, both releases include some minor bug fixes and interface rendering improvements. These updates are free for existing FabFilter Pro-C or Volcano 2 users.
FabFilter Pro-C is a professional compressor plug-in with very high quality sound, flexible routing and side chain options, and various beautiful program dependent compression styles. The innovative user interface and animated level display make compression with FabFilter Pro-C easy to grasp for everyone.
FabFilter Volcano 2 is the highly improved successor of our award-winning Volcano filter plug-in. The original idea of high quality filters being modulated with several sources is still present but Volcano 2 has been redesigned from the ground up. Now it is not only capable of high quality filtering effects, but it can even be used for phasing, flanging, chorus and many other cool effects!
FabFilter Volcano 2 is available for EUR 119, USD 164 or GBP 94. FabFilter Pro-C is available for EUR 149, USD 209 or GBP 119. Both plug-ins can be used on Windows and Mac OS X in VST and VST 3, RTAS and Audio Units plug-in formats (both mono and stereo).
