John Rausch

John Rausch is Recording & Mix Engineer, Producer and Songwriter who spent several years in Los Angeles as the in house engineer for A-List songwriter-producer, Dan Wilson. During that time he racked up impressive credits on projects for Taylor Swift, Pink, Florence + The Machine, Foxes, Colbie Caillat, Birdy, Gavin DeGraw and others, as well as a Grammy nomination for his work on Swift’s multi-platinum album, RED.

Immediately after relocating to Nashville in Dec 2016, John linked up with producer Jacquire King to engineer several songs on Niall Horan’s solo debut, Flicker, which simultaneously hit #1 on iTunes in 55 countries. Additional recent & upcoming production credits include work with Moon Taxi, NAWAS, Dierks Bentley, Liz Huett and Daughtry among others. He’s additionally been writing with up & coming major label artists such as Devon Gilfillian, Josie Dunne and Colin Elmore.

John Rausch and FabFilter

"I leard about FabFilter through the producer grapevine a few years back. My favorite would be FabFilter Pro-L 2, it' just awesome at making things loud but retaining tone and width in a mix. It’s really hard to beat. Timeless 2 and Volcano 2 are also truly awesome!"

"Once you get you head around them it’s amazing what they can produce in a creative environment. Something I have always enjoyed about you plugs is the user interfaces. They are simple yet have everything you need to go deep when needed."
