Mogwai

Mogwai, from Glasgow, Scotland have been around since '95, making mostly instrumental and often experimental music. Alongside regular studio albums (currently recording album number 9 with Dave Fridmann at Tarbox Studios) the band have also worked on TV and film soundtracks, often collaborating with people like Clint Mansell, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross as well as working alone.

Influences of Mogwai draw from many other bands and film composers, like My Bloody Valentine, John Carpenter, NIN, 13th Floor Elevators, Ennio Morricone and Bardo Pond. The band have a love of electronic music too which often features in their music.

The band are now a four piece consisting of Dominic Aitchison, Barry Burns, Stuart Braithwaite and Martin Bulloch.
