Sandy Vee

Sandy Vee is one of the leading French producers of electronic music. He has worked for well-known labels like Subliminal and Pacha Recording. His productions topped the French charts many times and if he's not creating his own hits, he's remixing for others like Erick Morillo, Axwell, Eric Pridz and Cerrone. Apart from his productional work, Sandy is also DJ'ing all aroung the globe!

Born in a family of musicians, Sandy started to make music at a young age, in high school. "I really fell in love with electronic music by listening to some of the best 80's producers, who were masters in beat/synth programming. With the birth of the drumbox and synthesizer, and now the computers, the way we produce music has definitely changed!"

At this moment, Sandy is working on the B.O. of a big movie, a music game for Ubisoft and several follow-ups of his hit productions.

Sandy Vee and FabFilter

"I recently started to use FabFilter Pro-C. It offers incredible quality compression. I generally use it to sidechain a bass track or pads or even on the master to glue a mix! The compression is smooth and transparent, even at high compression levels and you can choose between clean, classic or opto compression mode. In addition, I love how the animated display shows you the way you are compressing your track!"

"I am currently also working with FabFilter Twin and FabFilter Volcano and one thing is sure: FabFilter plug-ins are a must have!"
