Those who are, please list versions. We've seen it on 26.4.0/Tahoe/Mac Studio M4 ultra, and 25.12, Mac Pro 2019, Sequoia. Maybe we'll find an intersection somewhere. https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24210 (Comment on) Fabilter Q4 mutes audio Mon, 11 May 2026 21:05:39 GMT The issues we're seeing now aren't specifically pointing to Q4 - but Q4 is on the Pro Tools 7.1.2 Routing Folder involved - and only the center channel is cutting out. We usually get the signal back by making the whole folder inactive/active, but also sometimes have to switch the folder to DSP and back again. In some cases we heard a loud POP - sort of a "DC offset" sound. We don't have a repro case, though it happens far less frequently on a Mac Pro Intel 2019 than on a Mac Studio M4.... https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24209 (Comment on) VST3 plug-in state not saved and restored in Vienna Ensemble Pro Mon, 11 May 2026 13:39:56 GMT Thanks, Ralph. VSL does offer 30 day trial licenses FYI. If there are logs anywhere I can help send (or a debug plug-in version that captures more of the VST3 API call sequence), just let me know. Appreciate you looking into! https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24208 (Comment on) Emulating ProQ4 Solo mode with regular EQ moves Mon, 11 May 2026 10:08:19 GMT Hi David, Soloing a band will basically just put a band pass filter around the center frequency of the band in the signal path. The band pass filter has a Q value 3x higher than that of the bell you're soloing, so if your bell has a Q of 1 a band pass with a Q of 3 will give you a similar result. It's not a 100% match, but it should get you pretty close. https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24207 (Comment on) Discount? Mon, 11 May 2026 09:51:11 GMT Hi, I think I found two accounts for you, one registered to a gmail address and one to a naver address. The gmail account just got the edu discount, and the naver account holds your licenses. I just merged the two accounts, so now both your licenses and the edu discount is registered to your naver account. You can also see the loyalty discount applied to that account in your personal upgrade offer. If you need help getting access to your account I suggest sending an email, as we... https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24206 (Comment on) VST3 plug-in state not saved and restored in Vienna Ensemble Pro Mon, 11 May 2026 09:47:24 GMT Hi Eric, That's interesting. We currently don't have an active license for VEP here at the office. We'll have to get it running and see if we can reproduce. We'll get back to you about this. https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24205 (Comment on) Emulating ProQ4 Solo mode with regular EQ moves Sun, 10 May 2026 19:45:04 GMT Forgot to ask the actual question: So how is this solo listen actually implemented? What kind of filters are being used to get that result? https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic (Topic) Emulating ProQ4 Solo mode with regular EQ moves Sun, 10 May 2026 19:41:31 GMT Oftentimes when I'm soloing a band I think "well that's a cool sound", however I can't seem to replicate that with regular EQ moves. I've played around with high and lowpass filters with different Q values and db/oct etc, band passes, etc. It always seems more congested and less transparent trying to do it manually. You can actually kinda fix the solo listen when you have it active and then do a left click inside the plugin gui and then just click outside the plugin, but that's hacky and I... https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic (Topic) Combined license for sale Sun, 10 May 2026 09:47:07 GMT Pro-MB, Pro-C 2, Pro-R, Pro-L 2, Pro-Q 3, Saturn 2, Timeless 3, Volcano 3, Pro-R 2, Pro-Q 4, Pro-C 3 Hi! I have a lot of plugins that I don’t use as much as they deserve. And I’m saving up money to buy other things. So I’m selling a combined licence for the Fabfilter plugins above. I’ve checked the Fabfilter FAQ, so it’s okay to resell the licence. I’d like €400. A good deal, but I’d like the money for something else. peterjohansson78@me.com https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24204 (Comment on) Pro-L3 idea: Spectral limiting and priority EQ section Sun, 10 May 2026 01:33:50 GMT BTW, the Pro-L3's spectral limiting idea is not complete without "Spectral Density" settings from Pro-Q4's spectral dynamics that adjust number of scalefactor bands used for spectral limiting, as well as gain reduction spectrum display on the priority EQ section of Pro-L3 that is absent in sidechain EQ section of Pro-C3 (even on "TTM" style that is actually multiband)
