(Topic) Pro Q4 / Pro Tools Error Message

Dear Team, we`re using Fabfilter 4.01 on Mac Studio M2 Ultra (OS Ventura) with Pro Tools 2024.10.3 (native) We`re getting alot of Pro Tools -9173 Error messages. Do you know how to handle that? If i remember right, there was a similar issue with Pro Q3, and the solution was "turning of dynamic plugin processing". But in in our case, our session is pretty huge and turning off dynamic plugin processing will cause to 80..90% of CPU load. Many thanks in advance Markus

Hi Pascal, Could you try entering the code below in the Terminal app? Please don't forget to include the "" at the end: defaults write com.fabfilter.Pro-Q.3 ScalingAdjustments "" You should do this with Nuendo closed. Then start Nuendo and the scaling should be back to normal. Cheers,

Did anyone figure out another fix for this? I'm on Mac OS Sonoma 14.7.5 using Nuendo 14 and I've accidentally made the resolution very small on an instance of Pro L, so small that the ui won't let me click the resize button (clicking there only initiates click and drag resizing).

Hi Joseph, Can you try (with no DAW running) to rename your com.fabfilter.Pro-Q.4.plist file in your ~/Library/Preferences folder. Then immediately restart your Mac. This should reset your preferences and hopefully resolve the problem. Cheers,

I am moving to AV Linux. I am expecting the clap versions to work but because they were made for windows I will still need to run a compatibility layer. Why bother making clap version if not for linux? LV2 would be a nice thing to see. Please count me as one professional user moving to linux. Thanks for making some of my favorite plugs. I hope to be able to continue to use them. John

Was all excited about Black Friday and saw the upgrade price of $63 advertised on PluginBoutique as well as Sweetwater. Went back to purchase it today and suddenly it's 30% higher than that price at $84. The sale was supposed to last until December 1 but I feel honestly, a little miffed that that wasn't honored. Did anyone actually successfully complete the upgrade at that lower price? Really bummed as I love this darn EQ! Thanks!

(Topic) Pro Q4 not showing in protools

Hi, I purchased the fabfilters bundle to use it in protools. I installed everything and all the plugins are now in my daw but not ProQ4. The AAX is in the right folder (like the others that I can find in protools). I already tried a clean installation, I deleted the aax cache, launched protools in administrator mode, checked the unused plugins folder... I'm using protools 2024.10.0 on windows and followed the same steps for every Fabfilter plugin. If anyone has an idea on how...
