Rent to own would probably require additional operational expenses from FabFilter side depending on financial institutions that serve them. Add to this the need to change the licensing scheme/code with ability to revoke the license at any time. But there are alternatives. PayPal offers Pay in 4 option, and there are frequent credit card offers in the US with zero interest for up to two years and no fees (right now Wells Fargo offers a card with 21 months zero interest on purchases). not familiar with the mothership but i am with the rack by soundtoys and flow from soft tube. it just makes massive sense for people who deal with longer program material to have a chain handy for offline processing.

I am using always latest MacOS / FL Studio Version available, aswell as the latest FF. (all Apple Silicion native) Since February 2025 no update. After a while working with FF plugins (mostly Pro Q4) the GUI lags / hangs.
