Thu, 26 Mar 2026 08:58:30 GMT Hi Tchangnsun, I'm not very familiar with Listenhub. Does it have a way to rescan the plug-ins? https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic (Topic) I cannot load Pro-Q4 into the FX-Chain of Sonnox ListenHub. Thu, 26 Mar 2026 06:13:07 GMT After updating Fabfilter Pro-Q4 to v4.11, I cannot load Pro-Q4 into the FX-Chain of Sonnox ListenHub. It worked fine before, but it won't run after the update. When I first launch ListenHub, the Fabfilter folder and Pro-Q4 appear in the FX list, but when I try to load Pro-Q4, it doesn't run, and the Fabfilter entry itself immediately disappears from the plugin list. https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24038 (Comment on) Pro-C 3 not catching transients like Pro-C 2 and other compressors Thu, 26 Mar 2026 01:30:45 GMT I find it intriguing how Pro-C 3 requires a more nuanced approach to handling transients compared to Pro-C 2 and other stock compressors. The need for shorter attack times and the adjustment of lookahead settings to effectively catch those spiky transients suggests that Pro-C 3 has a different algorithm or processing style. While it's great that I've resolved the issue by adjusting the lookahead, I still wonder why other compressors can manage transients effectively with slower attack... https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24037 (Comment on) Fabilter Q4 mutes audio Wed, 25 Mar 2026 21:50:06 GMT I've been dealing with Pro Q4 audio issues for 7-8 months now. I even experienced the issue when I took my session to FOX to mix it. So it's not hardware specific. Basically at random times ProQ4 goes completely mute. My only solution is to close and reopen the session. No need to fully close PT. Just restart the session. But I had days when I had this same experience 5-10 times. Sometimes it happens in one particular section within the session, which is very odd. The way it shows up for me... https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic#comment24036 (Comment on) Pro-C 3 not catching transients like Pro-C 2 and other compressors Wed, 25 Mar 2026 14:59:52 GMT Alright I realized I was only setting the "max" lookahead, not adjusting the lookahead itself. With a high lookahead, the problem is resolved. However, I'm still confused why Pro-C 2 and other stock compressors are able to catch these transients without lookahead and with a slower attack, but Pro-C 3 requires shorter attack and lookahead. Here's a comparison of what I'm seeing in Pro-C 2, versus Pro-C 3 no lookahead, and Pro-C 3 with 2ms lookahead. imgur.com/a/t73TZMt https://www.fabfilter.com/forum/topic (Topic) Pro-C 3 not catching transients like Pro-C 2 and other compressors Wed, 25 Mar 2026 14:22:13 GMT I'm getting some weird behavior with Pro-C 3. I am compressing a plucky arpy pattern, and no matter what settings I dial in, Pro-C 3 let's some very large spiky transients pass through. Even with .005ms attack, and 20ms lookahead. It happens on all modes. I pulled up Pro-C 2 as a sanity check and do not get these spiky transients. Even with slower attack settings. I also don't get them on Ableton's Compressor or Glue Compressor. Not sure what's going on here.
