Small bug fixes for all plug-ins
All FabFilter plug-ins have been updated with small bug fixes, and in addition we have improved the macOS installer experience. This update is free for existing customers and we recommend everyone to update to these latest versions.
How to upgrade to the latest versions?
That's simple: just download the latest installer from www.fabfilter.com/download and install over the existing versions. The update is 100% backwards compatible.
What's new?
- Pro-Q 4: Fixed a crash that could occur when setting the dynamic range of a spectral band to zero, while having at least one more band that is not spectral.
- Pro-L 2 and Pro-L 1: Fixed an issue that caused the red gain reduction curve in the level display to show without a proper fill color.
- Pro-C 3, Pro-L 2, Pro-R 2, Saturn 2, Timeless 3, Volcano 3 and Twin 3: The new copy/paste functionality (by right-clicking on the preset button) now also works when pasting from an earlier plug-in version.
- Pro-MB: Fixed a bug that made it impossible to change crossover frequencies by dragging a slope button horizontally.
- Pro-Q 4, Pro-C 3, Pro-R 2 and Twin 3: Improved how the preset browser reacts when you hover over a folder and then move to the right to go inside the folder. Even when the movement is slightly diagonal, it keeps the current folder selected so you don't have to move in a straight horizontal line.
- The macOS installers now contain a customize page where you can choose the plug-in formats to install. The Total Bundle macOS installer also lets you choose the plug-ins to install.
- Minor bug fixes.
The updated plug-ins are fully compatible with previous versions. The latest versions and 30-day trials are available for download now at www.fabfilter.com/download. In addition, we have also updated all supported legacy plug-in downloads (e.g. Pro-Q 3), which are available at www.fabfilter.com/support/downloads.
