John Jaszcz

Known for his fat bottom and impossibly clear mixes, John "Yosh" Jaszcz is a seven-time Grammy award winning engineer and mixer. Over the course of his long career, Yosh has worked with some of the top names in R&B, Gospel, and Country including Kirk Franklin, John Michael Montgomery, Bootsy Collins, and so many more. While mixing chart-topping Gospel acts like James Fortune, Tye Tribbett, and Tasha Cobbs fills most of his time lately, he also produces, records, and mixes independent artists on a regular basis.

Yosh currently works out of his private mix room, giving him a consistent and comfortable creative working environment with all the tools necessary for his renowned mixing.

John Jaszcz and FabFilter

"I was introduced to FabFilter by a couple of producers I work with. I used the demo so much on the mix I was working on I just had to buy it. FabFIlter Pro-Q and Pro-C are so intuitive and versatile and the sound is manipulated so eloquently and smoothly that they have moved to the top of the list of plugins I reach for most often!"

"FabFilter Saturn is another plugin that I simply can't go without anymore. I still can't believe some of the things I'm able to do with it! What I can do to a bass guitar with it absolutely blows me away. I love it for low end; I love it for top-end; Amp modeling on different bands; ridiculous! I have even put it on the two-mix for some specific tape saturation."
