Mucky
Reynard Bargmann alias Mucky or Mucky Beats, is a music producer and composer from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Starting as a bedroom producer at the age of 15, he discovered his passion for music and UK Bass in particular.
After graduating on the Rotterdam Conservatory as music producer in 2012, he met Sevda Alizadeh aka SEVDALIZA. They released their independent debut album “ISON” which claimed #1 spot on the iTunes Electronic chart in the US and a 7.7 rating on Pitchfork.
His production style got noticed by the godfather of Grime: Wiley. Mucky produced the song Speaker Box released on his Godfather LP in 2017. In the end of 2018 he produced the “Boasty” that later got remixed by Idris Elba featuring Stefflon Don and Sean Paul. It hit certified gold status in the UK and reached 11 in the UK Charts and became one of the biggest club records in 2019 across the globe.
He is currently working on his solo project which will be a showcase of the styles he became custom to in his productions through out the years. It’s expected to be released in April 2020.
Mucky and FabFilter
"I learned about FabFilter through my fellow producers and found out it is one of the most cutting edge tools for mixing and mastering. It became one of my favourite plugin's, especially FabFilter Pro-L 2 for mastering, Pro-Q 3 for surgical precision equalising vocals and Saturn for nice crunchy distortions. I love the visual feedback it provides and the sound is amazing. I can't imagine my workflow without FabFilter anymore."
