Elkka

Elkka is a London-based artist who began her path as a singer, songwriter and has evolved into a multi-faceted producer, DJ and label boss. With her music being a cross-pollination between house, electronica, percussive beats and dreamy vocals, Elkka’s universe constantly expands as she immerses herself in cross-genre, warm and hypnotic dj sets and live shows, reaching the outer corners of music.

Her music, released via femme culture, received acclaim and support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Tom Ravenscroft and Elkka was also named as one of the artists to watch in 2019 by Mixmag. In addition, Elkka has garnered playlist and radio plays from acclaimed producers Four Tet, Floating Points, Caribou and George Fitzgerald.

In 2016, Elkka founded femme culture which she runs alongside DJ Saint Ludo. The London-based record label and collective was born out of the desire to champion women in the arts and push forward-thinking music standing for inclusivity amongst all genders, backgrounds and beliefs, and actively promotes collaboration in all fields. The collective aim to achieve this via their regular radio shows, releases (including their annual UN Women Compilation) art exhibitions, club nights and more.

Elkka and FabFilter

"I am a huge fan of the FabFilter universe. I became aware of the tools when it was something I would consistently see in every studio setting so started to explore them for my own work."

"The Pro-Q 3 is my go to EQ every time, I literally cannot live without it now. The visual display, GUI and sound is brilliant. The Pro-R is an unbelievable reverb and the Pro-C 2 is such a versatile compressor. For anyone, starting out to professional, I think they are a must."
