John Hill and FabFilter

"I use FabFilter products religiously on everything. Mostly FabFilter Pro-Q 2, Pro-MB, Pro-L, Saturn, Pro-C 2, Pro-DS and Pro-G. I started using it because I loved all the different kinds of metering and frequency analyzing the plugins have, then I just got hooked."

"My favorites are Pro-Q 2, Pro-MB, and Pro-L. I use the Pro-Q 2 on almost every track for EQ as well as the linear mode for mastering EQ. I use the Pro-MB quite a bit as well, mainly for vocals but also for bass, guitars, mix bus, etc... The Pro-L is always the very last limiter on the mastering chain. Really looking forward to getting into Pro-L 2."

"I like how easy it is for me to use. There's really no limits to bands or ways of metering your sounds. It's really pretty amazing what they've come up with - they added it all. Low latency, linear phase, sidechain frequency analyzer, it's CRAZY! Thank god for FabFilter. When you see, visually, how the sound looks on the frequency analyzer for EVERY sound, and then you start to connect that with what your hearing over years, you really start to make a connection with how to get the speaker to do what you want it to do that I don't think I ever would have made without these amazing plugins."
