The Upbeats
The Upbeats are a drum and bass production duo from New Zealand, currently based in London. They have been writing music since meeting in high school, over 10 years ago, and now have four albums under their belt plus a bunch of singles, 12"s and remixes on labels such as Virus, Ram, BC presents, Mau5trap, Hospital etc.
"We are currently signed to Noisia's Vision Recordings, and have just finished an EP collaborating with them, plus working our latest album for the label, due early next year. Other projects include our hip hop side project 'Society of Numbers' with MC Armanni Reign and dubstep/bass music alias "Crushington".
Their musical influences are right across the board; anything from Curtis Mayfield to Radiohead, Flying Lotus to Neil Young, Ed Rush & Optical, Black Sabbath and beyond. "We love to be inspired by stuff outside of the genre we work in and bring parts of that into what we do."

Absolutely love the EQ and everything about it - the look, the sound and the interface. It just makes sense."
