Gramatik
Gramatik is a Slovenian producer, currently operating from Brooklyn, New York. He has been lighting up stages and creating a distinct relationship with his fans worldwide since his debut in 2009. In an era when most musicians and the industry at large were scrambling to maintain a grasp of their old streams of revenue, Gramatik was jumping head first into what he believed would be the future - file sharing. "Freeing music by making music free" has become one of the calling cards of Gramatik's career.
The Age of Reason is a benchmark release in the career of Gramatik; the first release on his own label Lowtemp, and a true sonic evolution. It is said that a master learns the rules in order to know when to forget them. With The Age of Reason, Gramatik shows a musical growth which defies genre and breaks the EDM status quo to achieve an extension of the sound we have come to know as Gramatik. TAOR seamlessly blends Gramatik's hip-hop roots with his love of funk and soulful lyrics with modern production to create a future funk dance sound all his own.
