The Disco Fries

The Disco Fries have gone from making tunes in their dorm room while guzzling cheap vodka to inducing mass ruckus at clubs across the globe with signature tracks which have been co-signed by some of the biggest names in EDM like Tiesto, Hardwell, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and Armand Van Helden. Nick and Danny have consistently blurred the lines between genre's and managed to create a unique balance between big-room progressive melodies and their signature blown out basslines.

In celebration of Tiësto receiving the DJ Mag & KLM DJ Legend Award, he released a free download where The Disco Fries were featured called “iTrance." In addition to remixing artists from Katy Perry and Flo Rida to Foxes and Cobra Starship, they received co-write and composer credits on Krewella "Live For The Night" along with the members of Cash Cash. Early 2014 will see forthcoming releases on Armada and Musical Freedom.

The Disco Fries and FabFilter

"One of our favorite and most-used software tools is FabFilter Pro-Q. Besides having an easy-to-use interface and excellent sound quality, it also has a number of lesser known features including, our secret weapon, the mid/side mode. In addition to affecting the bands while in M/S mode, the panning knob now functions as a overall mix control between the mid and side signals. Pushing the knob all the way to the left results in a mono sound while setting it to the right leaves only the stereo information."
