Ryan Shanahan
Ryan Shanahan is an audio engineer and mixer who has worked for Zedd, Alessia Cara, Selena Gomez, Maren Morris, XYLØ and Will Sparks. He was born in southern California and has been working in the music industry for over fifteen years.
"I got my start working in smaller studios in the San Fernando valley. I spent seven years as an in-house engineer for Interscope Records in Santa Monica. I've been working with Zedd for seven years now and continue to mix for other artists. I love pop, dance, and hip hop and my mixing style tends to reflect that. I mix primarily in Cubase, but track in Pro Tools."

"FabFilter Pro-Q 2 and Pro-MB are some of my favorite FabFilter plug-ins. Pro-Q 2 sounds great, is super flexible, and has EQ Match which I use all the time. Pro-MB is my go to multiband compressor for vocals. When I'm looking for a different flavor or color, I tend to use Saturn to saturate things to give them a little character. On vocals I love Timeless 2 and use it all the time. When I'm ready to finish a mix, Pro L 2 always finds its way into my mastering chain."
